Prices
All prices stated on the website are inclusive of VAT and are subject to change without notice.
Whilst we try and ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.
Payment
Payment will be taken from your Credit/Debit card at the time of order. When payment is made by Credit/Debit card, you are authorising us to debit the total cost of the items selected with the addition of delivery costs (were applicable). If your card cannot be verified through PayPal or our security checks, the order will not be despatched. In the event that we are unable to fulfil your order, then you will be notified and your Credit/Debit card will be refunded in full.
Refunds
Refunds can only be made to the card used to place the order. Please see our Shipping & Returns section for further details.
Processing Of Orders
No contract for the sale of any product will subsist between you and The Unique Gift Emporium until we despatch the product(s) ordered. We will confirm that the product(s) have been despatched by a confirmation email. This confirmation e-mail amounts to an acceptance by The Unique Gift Emporium of your offer to buy goods from The Unique Gift Emporium or a third party supplier that is engaged on your behalf by us (whether or not you receive that e-mail). You agree that e-mail can be used as a long-distance means of communicating with you.
On confirmation of an order you are confirming that all the details provided are accurate.
You must check that the details on this confirmatory e-mail are correct as soon as possible and you should print out and keep a copy of it.
We will not pass on your personal or credit or debit card details to any third party except PayPal, who require them for the purposes of processing your payment. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further information.
You undertake that all details you provide to us for the purpose of ordering or purchasing goods or services are correct, that the credit or debit card you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods or services ordered
Title of Goods
Title to the product passes to you at the time of despatch. We are not liable for damages or loss that is incurred during delivery. This is covered by the shipping insurance.
Goods will be sent to the address given by you in your order and stated in the Order Confirmation email.
We shall have no liability to you for any delay in the delivery of products ordered or any other matters to the extent that the delay is due to any event outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, flood, fire, labour disputes, strikes, lock-outs, riots, civil commotion, malicious damage, explosion, governmental actions and any other similar events
Prize Draw Entry
Prize Draws & Competitions are open to all UK residents aged 18 or over. Only one entry per person will be accepted. Prize draws are open to customers and non-customers. No purchase is necessary.
To be entered into the prize draw, entrants must enter their name, email address and answer the qualifying question through the entry form at www.theuniquegiftemporium.co.uk.
All entries must be received by the closing date specified in the individual prize draw. All entries received by the closing date are valid and have an equal chance of winning. Entries not submitted in accordance with the rules or incomplete or illegible entries will be disqualified. Responsibility cannot be accepted by The Unique Gift Emporium for lost, undelivered, delayed, damaged or mislaid entries. Any prize is as specified for the individual prize draw. No alternative prizes may be requested although The Unique Gift Emporium reserves the right to alter arrangements or prizes should this be unavoidable. There is no cash alternative. Any prize will be awarded to the first valid entry drawn at random. The decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into by The Unique Gift Emporium in relation to that decision.
The winner will be contacted by e-mail, after the date stated in the individual prize draw. Closing date for entries is stated on each individual prize draw. It is a condition of entry that any winner consents to their name to be published on the website.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances the promoter reserves the right to alter, amend or foreclose the competition without prior notice.
By entering any prize draw all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules and by any other requirements set out in the prize draw material.
